    I want to assign certain sidebars to certain posts, pages and products (woo), and was wondering if there is any way to do it in a bulk edit mode, so I don have to go in to each product separately.

    Any way to get simple sidebars to show up in the quick edit mode?

    Thanks

    One way to do it is to assign all posts that you want to have one widget to a specific category and then show the widget on per category basis.

    thanks, that may work, but will probably only show in the archive view. I'm using woo commerce, and I'd like to assign different sidebars to specific products. Any way to get simple sidebars to show up in the quick edit mode? That would be nice.

    Or is that not doable?

    Create your different sidebars. Then go to the Post categories - open up a category and assign the sidebar to that category. You can also open up the Product Categories and assign a sidebar to those categories as well. But I use Genesis Simple Sidebars all the time and I think you can achieve what you want with that.

    @anitac

    Can you confirm that it will work fine with woocommerce categories as well? Thanks!

    It does work with woo categories as well. But I already have 150 products assigned to the default sidebar and I would have to go in to each one and change it. Trying to avoid that if at all possible.

    @Mayur, I use Genesis Simple Sidebars and I can confirm they would with Woocommerce categories and quite well!

    Yes, it's right on the Product Categories screen - it's a sidebar drop down for you to make the selection.
