Hi, I've been able to work out most of the setup pretty easily. One point of confusion though is that the Woo Commerce info shows you how to add "Products", but the template uses "Add Books" under the Library section.

If I go to the website, I can click on a book and then the "View Book". However, when I get to the book page e.g. https://lowheadproductions.com.au/book/tamar-river-leads-creating-a-safe-harbour-entrance/ and click "Add to Cart" it keeps returning to the same page. I am not sure how to link it to Woo Commerce and the Shopping Cart. Maybe I have missed a step in the process, but I've gone over the setup notes and cannot see anything. Any help would be appreciated 🙂
    Thanks
    Leanne

It doesn't look like you're using a WooCommerce Add to Cart button. The books have to be added to WooCommerce Inventory, then you use a Shortcode for the add to cart button.

Hi Victor, thanks so much for your reply. That was extremely helpful. The documentation I believe only says to add the books to "Library" and didn't go further into adding to "Products" under WooCommerce as well - hence the confusion.

I now have the books listed both under "Books" so that they show up in the Homepage 2 widget (created by the Genesis Author Pro plugin I think). They have a "Read More" button underneath them which takes them to the relevant "Book" page. The book page then has a "Purchase" button which takes you to the relevant "Product" page.

From the Product page you can "Add to Cart" and Proceed to Checkout.

I feel that one of these steps is unnecessary. I would like to be able to go straight from the "Read More" book page to the Product page where they can "Add to Cart" (i.e. skipping the "Purchase button" on the Book page.

Is there any way to do this please? Or is it part and parcel of the WooCommerce integration?

Everything else seems fine thanks. I really appreciate your help.
    Regards, Leanne

Yes, I'm sure you can do, it's all highly customizable. I couldn't tell you how without access to the back end of the site. It's been a while since I worked with any of the author pro elements. I suspect the purchase page can be customized to use the add to cart button instead of what's there now.
