    So I added the Genesis eNews Extended widget to my Generate Pro theme at http://unleashthewritestuff.com. I don't want any text to appear in this block other than the First Name and E-mail address fields . I want those two fields and the Subscribe button to appear side by side on a single row for a clean user experience. Right now, though, the widget stacks the fields off to the right, leaves a lot of empty space off to the left and the First Name field is longer than the E-mail field.

    Can anyone recommend code so I can customize the appearance? Or is there another plug-in I can use that will provide that clean user experience I am looking for?

    Thanks,
    Joe

    This requires changing a few CSS blocks in style.css.

    1. Comment out the CSS at line 1291:

    /*
    .home-featured .enews form {
    float: right;
    width: 65.812%;
    }
    */

    2. Around line 914 change:

    .enews-widget input {
        font-size: 16px;
        margin-bottom: 16px;
        width: 33%;
    }

    3. Around line 1296 change:

    .home-featured .enews-widget input[type="email"] {
        margin-bottom: 0px;
        width: 33%;
    }

    4. Around line 1302 change:

    .home-featured .enews-widget input[type="submit"] {
        width: 31.6239%;
    }
