    Hi,

    Is there a way to only show the blog archive title on the first page and not on subsequent ones?

    I'm using Genesis Sample 2.6.1

    Hi Brad,

    Tried both but neither work.
    I notice the remove action has:

    'genesis_do_blog_template_heading'

    I'm using a static Home Page and blog page, would this be the reason why?
    (what I know about php you can write on the back of a match box with my name and address 🙂 )

    Also, will this work on all Genesis themes or just Sample?

    The code only works with the Genesis blog page template.

    It's on a local so can't link to it I'm afraid.

    I've never used the genesis blog template after reading Bill Erikson's article about it.

    I assume you're using a page as your front page using the reading settings?

    Have you changed your reading settings? If so, what to?

    Also, is the blog page using the blog page template from the Page Attributes box?

    Theme: Now using Parallax Pro

    Reader settings set to static page:
    Homepage = Home
    Posts Page = Blog

    The Home Page is using the default template.
    The blog page no longer has the option to use a template (removed by genesis?).

    Thats why. The code i linked to does work and it removes the blog page title for pages using the blog page template.

    Post page should be "your latest posts"

    Blog page should be the blog page template.

    Otherwise you'll need different code.
