    I've just started to create a website using Altitude Pro. I want to add shortcodes to some of the front-page widgets in order to incorporate a slideshow and a map. The shortcodes just don't activate – there's just blank space where the map should appear. I've tried adding…

    add_filter('widget_text', 'do_shortcode');

    …to the theme's functions.php file but that doesn't do the trick.

    Please can you help me get around this problem.
