    Once I added my header image it messed up the nav bar and I can't see how to fix it.

    You can see there's extra space between the bottom of the header & nav bar & where the beginning of my front page begins (the line should be up higher). It's being caused by the nav bar (I think) because if you hover over any of the tabs in the nav bar you see there's a lot of space between the text of the nav bar & the hover "line" where the sub menu begins. It works perfecting if I only use the text header.

    Thank you for any help!

    Hi Kim,
    I tried this on my demo site and it does not add the extra space. How did you add your logo image? In the Customize under Header Image?? If not, that may be the issue.

    This code hides the site title if an image is used - but your image does not have the proper class, leading me to think it was not added correctly.

    .header-image .site-title > a {
      background-size: contain !important;
      display: block;
      height: 76px;
      text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    If not, try disabling any plugins that may be conflicting to see if it changes things.

    Hi Savvy Jackie. Yes, I added it thru the Appearance > Customize > Header Image.

    Sorry, I did see your second message. I disabled several plugins, one of which was left over from a different theme. That seemed to help, but then I messed w/ the padding below and it fixed it. I also double checked the demo and even on the demo the line under each tab on the navbar is not directly under the text (which I didn't realize), so my site is as it should be according to the demo now! Yay. Thank you for your assistance. I appreciate it.

    .genesis-nav-menu a {
    color: #fff;
    display: block;
    font-size: 14px;
    font-weight: 200;
    letter-spacing: 1px;
    padding: 40px 15px;
    text-transform: uppercase;
