I want to have either the widgets within each area on the parallex home page to align side by side. Right now they stack vertically.

I tried creating two widget areas called home-section-1-left and home-section-1- right, each with 50% width and to float left and right respectively. This works but they are still stacked just aligned against different edges.

I would create a new front-page.php file and code them directly into the file using Bootstrap column classes to display the widgets inline.

Or you could hook them in from the functions file.

    Hi,

You just need to add clear: none; to your CSS rules for .home-section-1-right.

    I hope that helps!

I was replying at the same time as Brad. My solution will work, but his suggestion to use the Bootstrap-style column classes is even better because it will make those widgets responsive (i.e., they'll stack on small screens.).
