It's been a while since I've attempted any customizations on this site and we just added a blog feature. Trying to figure out how to tweak the appearance of the post excerpts only on the blog page (https://hawaiicbc.net/blog/).

These are some of the changes I'm trying to make exclusive to this blog page:
- either omit any featured image(s) and/or ensure that text wraps around them
- display the first xxx characters of the post rather than either the post excerpt or full post content
- customize any meta-deta that appears on this archive page
