    Hello,

    I have a nice small image that I want to get to repeat across X at the very top of the .footer-widgets class. I've got that part working OK, but I still want the remaining background of this to be black and I've got the css set up for the background color also (you can see using developer tools) , but the background color isn't showing up...any idea why?

    Site is: http://www.amystout.net/wordpressnet

    My CSS for that is:

    .footer-widgets {
    background-color: #000;
    background: url(images/caution-lines2.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-position:top;
    color: #999;
    clear: both;
    padding: 60px 0 36px;
    padding: 6rem 0 3.6rem;
    }

    Thanks in advance...

    Trying changing that section of CSS to this:

    .footer-widgets {
    background: #000 url(images/caution-lines2.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-position:top;
    color: #999;
    clear: both;
    padding: 60px 0 36px;
    padding: 6rem 0 3.6rem;
    }
