    Hello,

    I am using the Genesis Extender plugin to create a custom page template with custom widget areas in Agency Pro.

    I have tried going to Cobalt Apps support with no luck, so I thought that I would try here as well.

    If you look at these two pages on my preview site hopefully you will see the problem.

    This page has a white container area that covers the backstretch image in the background:

    This is my custom page. It also needs the white container area to cover the background image. I need my widget areas to be inside a white container. At the moment I have placed a calendar into the widget area just to show its location.

    The problem is that the custom page has no white container, and so the widget is losing visibility against the background image.

    I need my custom page to have the same white container as the default full-width pages, but can't figure out how to do it.

    Many thanks

    Firstly, I'd like to thank you for your very clear explanation. Here's hoping I understood it correctly 🙂

    In your style.css file - line 1353 - change

    .entry {
    	background-color: #fff;
    	border-radius: 3px;
    	margin-bottom: 40px;
    	padding: 40px 40px 24px;
    }

    to

    #calendar-2,
    .entry {
    	background-color: #fff;
    	border-radius: 3px;
    	margin-bottom: 40px;
    	padding: 40px 40px 24px;
    }

    i.e. I just added #calendar-2, to the definition.

    The reason it works on bhutan is because the white background belongs to a post ... whereas nepal is a widget that doesn't have the relevant CSS definition.

    Hopefully that helps 🙂

    Hi Erik,

    Thanks very much for your suggestion. I've tried it, but no luck sadly. I'll keep experimenting. Certainly your suggestion of targeting the specific widget seems correct.

    Thanks again!

    Tim

    Hang on - sorry Eric, I was pasting the code in the wrong place! It works beautifully, thanks! I've implemented it on my local development site, so that's a big hurdle solved. Many thanks again,Tim
