MemberI'm new to Genesis and having trouble adding the images I want to add where I want them to go. I was able to add the logo below the nav bar but want to move the Search Bar/Banner to just under the logo.
Website is http://www.supportmyoffice.com/sandbox/
The search bar/banner is currently at the top of the content area. It will be clickable once the site s completed. I don't know much php and was hoping to accomplish this with CSS. Just can't figure out where to put it.
Thanks in advance for suggestions!

ParticipantHeya,
Using that large an image in the background for your header is a little unusual. Also, the logo image is unrelated to site-title, and is not a navigation link. As a result, for every page and post, above the fold content is only two background images and a menu. The only indication you are on a different page is the menu highlight. That's unappealing for visitors and not good for SEO.
For the other images/components, it's like you're fighting the theme features.
I think I would have structured this differently:
- use the theme setup for logo image (customizer), after adjusting for the larger size of your logo (functions.php), then center/reposition with CSS
- use that large image as the background image for Featured Section 1 (customizer)
- place the property search widget in the Home Section 1 widget area. (customizer)

MemberHi Tom,
Thanks for the input. I'm going round and round with this agent and this is the design she likes. The logo should be linked but isn't yet. The background image is there like that because she wants a big image at the top of the page. My intent is to make the search bar an actual search bar where people will type stuff in and search. That's part of IDX stuff that isn't set up yet. The image I'm using now is just a place holder.
I'm brand new to Genesis and have no idea how to do what you've suggested. Generally I don't have this much trouble with themes but Genesis seems to be kicking my butt. I have in my head exactly what I want it to look like, I'm just struggling to get this theme to do it for me.

Participant"because she wants a big image at the top of the page" On every page?
I see you're making some progress, now with a full-page background image. Is there something specific we can help you with?
