    Hello,

    I’m trying to create a landing page using the Swank child theme for one of my courses and so I decided to use the Layout Settings area of the page to remove all the sidebars.

    It all looks great except for the entry title of the page which is a aligned to the left (where the body text starts). I’d like to align it to the center of the page.

    So I tried using the “Custom Body Class” option in Layout Settings. I used ‘custom-landing’ and added the following to my stylesheet but it didn’t work:

    /* Custom Landingpage */
    .custom-landing h1 {
    text-align: center;
    }

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    I don't know if you already solved your problem.
    You were very close.
    Instead of h1 use .entry-title as selector.

    .custom-landing .entry-title {
    	text-align: center;
    }

    or you could use

    .custom-landing h1.entry-title {
    	text-align: center;
    }
