    I've created a site using Executive Pro theme. I'd like to add a Shopify "buy button" to my header right widget area from an external Shopify site. When I copy & paste the script generated through Shopify into my widget area it doesn't work. Is there a different area I should be adding the script? Shopify has stated that it should work.

    Here's the embedded script:

    <div data-checkout_button_text="Checkout" data-cart_button_text="Cart" data-button_text_color="ffffff" data-button_background_color="7fb466" data-background_color="ffffff" data-text_color="000000" data-accent_color="767676" data-cart_title="Your cart" data-discount_notice_text="Shipping and discount codes are added at checkout." data-cart_total_text="Total" data-sticky="true" data-empty_cart_text="Your cart is empty." data-embed_type="cart" data-shop="green-envy-cosmetics.myshopify.com"></div>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    document.getElementById('ShopifyEmbedScript') || document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src="https://widgets.shopifyapps.com/assets/widgets/embed/client.js" id="ShopifyEmbedScript"><\/script>');
    </script>

    Should work if you add the js in the Genesis > Theme Serttings > Header and Footer scripts box.

    What hook position did you want to display the button?

    The add the HTML to the header right widget area.
