Hello I am using Foodie Pro, there is already a Post Bottom widget area for single posts, but I am wanting to add a widget area below post excerpts (for example on the homepage I have it set to show latest blog posts and then in Content Archives have set it to show Excerpts. I can use Simple Edits for post meta but would like to have a widget area below that so I can place a related posts widget below the excerpts on homepage (I don't want it to show up on the Archives necessarily). Thanks!

It doesn't look like you're actually using the features of the Foodie Pro home page. You are just using the blog page as your home page. Once you add widgets to the Foodie Pro home page, the loop is removed in order to display the widgets.

Assuming you are running the standard Genesis loop, you would hook your code for related posts into genesis_after_entry_content or genesis_entry_footer. Either should work for you. You shouldn't add a widget area within the loop. It won't give you the results you expect.
