    When you say tagline do you mean the site description? It is being output after the site title, but you've got it hidden in your CSS.

    Check line 901 and 910 of style.css for:

    .header-image .site-description, .header-image .site-title a {
      display: block;
      height: 0;
      margin-bottom: 0;
      text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    and

    .site-description {
      display: block;
      height: 0;
      margin-bottom: 0;
      text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    @Brad Thanks, I have checked style.css, it has the exact same code that you posted. It means it is not hidden. But i am unable to see it. I have header image inserted , rest tagline is not displaying. What i should do?

    text-indent: -9999px;

    means that it is hidden. It's being displayed 9999px to the left - in other words, off your screen and outside the visible region.

    height: 0 means that it has no height, therefore you wouldn't be able to see it even if it were on your screen
