    Hi -
    Has anyone added "portfolio" custom post type to the Genesis Featured Posts Widget? We're using the Genesis Portfolio Pro Plugin and would love to pull portfolio items via this widget - rather than just blog posts. Any simple solution out there? Add code somewhere?

    You can use this plugin - Genesis Featured Widget Amplified

    Or you can also use this plugin - Featured Custom Post Type Widget for Genesis

    Both of these have settings for custom post types.

    $query_args = array(
    'post_type' => 'portfolio',
