Hi all. Using the Foodie Pro theme, and I want to add a transparent white background to the post titles on the archives pages. I can add an image as a background to h2.entry-title a but when the post title runs over to 2 lines the backgrounds overlap and it's not achieving the desired effect. I have played around with as many combinations as I can think of to add a background (.entry-header, entry-title a, .entry-title, etc.) cannot figure it out. I am using a plugin for the homepage which accomplishes this but it would be easier not to use this plugin on all the category pages and just use default archive layout. Thanks!

    Thanks!!!

    Hi there,

Set the article tag to a relative position.

Set the header tag to a position of absolute and position it appropriately .

    Cheers 🙂
