I want to add an image background to Modern Portfolio Pro behind the top logo, top menu and the top widget area that says "Welcome to my website"

See my quick mock up here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tik0v4ni2hbxsd3/mpp-change.png

Any thoughts on how to modify the theme to accomplish this?

Do you want the images to just rotate (while fading in) or you want the full bells & whistles (left right arrows, keyboard navigation, bullets at bottom)?

Full slider type layout, maybe make that area behave like widget and we could just drag genesis responsive slider into it.

Checked, it looks so good. Thanks Sri.

    Questions:
Is this possible using genesis responsive slider?
Also, are you using free or pro version the soliloguy slider ?

Should be possible. Just a matter of CSS changes.

    Paid.

Off topic: In my opinion every WordPress developer/consultant must have these: Genesis, Gravity Forms, Soliloquy, BackupBuddy.

    Sridhar,

How would we go about adding the background image header for all pages, with each page using a different image?

    Thanks,
    Miles
