    Hi,

    I'm reaching out to hopefully get an answer to why bbpress is malfunctioning with Academy Pro.

    If not changed, bbpress uses /forums/ as a Forum Root slug to show all forums. In my case, the theme is redirecting to an archive page it seems. I've google around a bit and it seems some themes have this issue. Any idea how to solve it?

    I've created a page with the slug forums as per bbpress installation instructions.

    The URL set up for bbPress forums comes from the bbPress plugin. You should reach out to them about how the URL is constructed.

    After another round of googling I found other people with the same issue.

    This plugin solved the problem: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress-genesis-extend/
