I have noticed that moderators are starting to close the "complaints" threads. I guess they figure it will somehow stop people from complaining. I think I saw the same response pasted into several different threads before they were closed.

I know much work and effort went into creating this new website. My question is, how much complaining will have to take place before someone listens? There has to be a limit to the number of negative comments about the change before someone at the top takes notice.

For those of us who purchased the pro package, we stand to lose the most because there is no incentive for them to make it better. They already have our money.

The value of what I purchased had decreased tremendously. They keep telling us to use tags, but that isn't working for me. I get too many results that have nothing to do with what I am looking for. There is no control over what users choose to put in tags. Garbage in, garbage out.

I cant find what I am looking for anymore. I feel cheated.

I totally agree. Instead of going forward with extending support, the Genesis community is going backwards.. maybe (in time) they will review it and change it back, but for now the community is stuck with this.. 🙁

What i hate most, is that now all issues are placed in one forum instead of how it used to be.

We have explained the changes and taken a lot of time to address each concern. The policy at this time is to keep closing the threads because they just turn into a pile on and lead no where despite the long responses that have been written. These threads detract from the community and take away from our time in being able to provide support. Please expect all threads like this to be closed and possibly just deleted in the future.

We can certainly appreciate that change is hard. The forums are now, and will continue to be, a community driven place for users to share ideas and solutions. The official support channel is limited to assisting with issues related to using StudioPress themes.  Topics pertaining to customization of StudioPress themes will be referred to the community forums. We are confident that, over time, the new forums will contain even better information than was previously available since we are able to encourage community members to participate in discussions, offer suggestions, and of course ask questions. This system is here to stay and will ultimately bring the best balance for both our users and our staff.
