Worpress great at getting a good hierarchy with folders in pages - using parent pages. ie http://www.yourdomain.com/graphic-design/menus

BUT in the posts I want the same structure but I cant easily create it, lots of discussion out there. I want http://www.yourdomain.com/news/article-here/

but initially I get http://www.yourdomain.com/category/news/ (for archive)
and then I get http://www.yourdomain.com/article-here/ (the category i.e. /news/ disappears - just not good SEO structure)

Has anyone found a solution to this seemingly basic requirement. Many Thanks!

I’m going to close this thread, as it is very old and unanswered. I am hoping that you were able to find your solution in the meantime.

As a reminder, this is a community forum, manned by volunteers, so not all posts will be responded to.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already done so, I recommend joining the #GenesisWP Slack community: https://genesiswp.slack.com
