This past weekend I finally updated our corporate website with the new version, developed using the Parallax theme.
This note is to thank all of you at the Forum for your help, tips, suggestions, support and ideas. They have all been incredibly helpful.

    Thank you.

    Looks very good, Jerry!

Don't forget you've got duplicate content at http://logisticsnetworkdesign.com/ (Google won't like that).

Since you're from TO, you might like:

    Thank you Tom!
I use logisticsnetworkdesign.com for developing/testing and I actually do not want anyone visiting the site, not even Google!
How can I avoid Google being unhappy??

Since you commented Tom, one more question.....
How did you find out about logisticsnetworkdesign.com ?
From my previous posts in this forum?
    Or somewhow by navigating technologix.ca??

Yes, I found the URL from your previous posts. You can do a search against your database to check again for links that didn't get changed in a migration.

If you keep two domains with the same content, Google apparently chooses one above the other, at best splitting the ranking, at worst (?) knocking you down for trying to game their system. It's a bad idea all around.

In Settings > Reading you can set "Discourage search engines from indexing this site", but that is not necessarily honoured by any search engine. I think you can really only hide your dev site behind a 'maintenance mode' or 'coming soon' page.
