Tagged: search box
I just updated this site (http://thriftdiving.com/) to the Glam Theme. It looked great on my test site, but when I moved the files over to the actual site, 2 search bars show up in the primary nav, when there should be only one.
I have combed through the site and code but can't for the life of me figure out what is causing a second search box to show.http://thriftdiving.com/
It's not possible to tell you what's happening from the front end. Glam Pro adds the search box to the menu at line 88 in functions.php. Any chance the code was duplicated or executed twice? This is going to take some php debugging.
I FINALLY found the issue. There is an option in the Genesis theme settings to enable the search function in the "primary navigation extras." My client must have had this enabled with the use of her previous form!
Make sure you are using the latest version of Genesis. The reason Glam Pro turned on the navigation extras in functions.php is because the Genesis developers removed the option from the settings screen for fresh installs in Version 2.1.0 released in 2014.
Using version 2.4.2.
