    I am trying to create a 2 column layout for my custom blog template in altitude-pro. I've created the new child template called Headline-Blog listed below:

    <?php
    /**
    *
    * Template Name: Headline-Blog
    * This file modifies the blog template.
    *
    * @package Genesis\Templates
    * @author LikeCatcher
    * @license GPL-2.0+
    * @link http://likecatcher.com
    */

    add_action('genesis_loop', 'genesis_standard_loop', 8);

    genesis();

    I'm really couldn't find any previous articles of anyone trying to do this. Any suggestions?

    What I wist to accomplish is to have several blog pages on different post categories, in a 2 column format with featured pictures. The category part I got.

    You can use CSS or PHP for the columns.
