I have followed http://designsbynickthegeek.com/tutorials/better-home-page to get 3 widget areas on the home page but they are showing on the top of everything else.

i would like the 3 widgets to show below the responsive slider so the layout would be as follows

slider

3 widgets

blog posts

How do i do this?

i have a brand new site that isnt live.

I have no plugins and no other customization

the only thing i did is that tutuorial.

current layout is

3 widgets

slider

blog posts

but needs to be
