Topic: Hello Pro Opt In Section Help needed
Hi -
I bought the Hello Pro theme a week ago and am having trouble making it look like the demo. I use MailChimp for my emails. The email opt in section of the home page currently looks like this:
I want it to be identical to the Hello Pro demo page, which is here:
See how in the demo everything is on one line and it is all horizontal? I want it to look like that.
Here is the code I have used to get what I have so far:
<span class="optin">LEARN THE LATEST</span><!-- Begin MailChimp Signup Form -->
<div id="mc_embed_signup">
<form action="//sandyeulitt.us7.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=7d661f6b66ad32f376eedefbc&id=2048a109d5" method="post" id="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" name="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" class="validate" target="_blank" novalidate>
<div id="mc_embed_signup_scroll">
<h2></h2>
<div class="indicates-required"><span class="asterisk">*</span> indicates required</div>
<div class="mc-field-group">
<label for="mce-EMAIL">Email Address <span class="asterisk">*</span>
</label>
<input type="email" value="" name="EMAIL" class="required email" id="mce-EMAIL">
</div>
<div class="mc-field-group">
<label for="mce-FNAME">First Name <span class="asterisk">*</span>
</label>
<input type="text" value="" name="FNAME" class="required" id="mce-FNAME">
</div>
<div id="mce-responses" class="clear">
<div class="response" id="mce-error-response" style="display:none"></div>
<div class="response" id="mce-success-response" style="display:none"></div>
</div> <!-- real people should not fill this in and expect good things - do not remove this or risk form bot signups-->
<div style="position: absolute; left: -5000px;" aria-hidden="true"><input type="text" name="b_7d661f6b66ad32f376eedefbc_2048a109d5" tabindex="-1" value=""></div>
<div class="clear"><input type="submit" value="Subscribe" name="subscribe" id="mc-embedded-subscribe" class="button"></div>
</div>
</form>
</div><!--End mc_embed_signup-->
If you reply, it would be really helpful if you could give me the code that needs to be changed, tell me where, and why. I used to be a programmer, but I never learned HTML. I can sort of read this and screw around with it some, but not a lot. I am trying to learn, but need to get this website up and running first.
Thanks very, very much for your help.

Topic: Lost Parallax Pro scrolling
HI, I was updating an old website and added a new widget section, but I see ow that I lost the scrolling of Parallax pro. Did the new section cause this?
I followed the tut here: http://keypresswp.com/add-horizontal-call-to-action-in-parallax-pro/
Wondering if I should remove what I added?
Thanks!

ashjoielee.comHi, I'm a graphic designer working with a developer and we've run into an issue. She has a hover animation on the names of our employees on our TEAM page (http://03cad97.netsolhost.com/wordpress1/team/) and it did look great on all devices except narrow ones. We were getting a strange two column result that required horizontal scrolling to see. I've troubleshooted in so many ways, but I'm not a developer, I'm learning CSS on the fly, and I'm struggling. She's frustrated and wants to scrap it, and her budget from the company is running out, but I'm not willing to give up yet. Originally, she'd inserted the CSS code directly to the page. Currently, we are using TablePress and put each photo in a responsive table cell, but there are still issues and the creator acknowledged that the code may be too complicated for what TP was designed to do. He suggested a responsive columns plugin. Which I used and simply copied and pasted the developer's codes into the columns (http://03cad97.netsolhost.com/wordpress1/column-team/). Now, it looks great on mobile devices, but the text for the employee's name is too low over the image.
Does anyone have a solution? What code would you need to see if you can help?
[Resolved]Topic: Custom widgets in mobile view (Magazine)
I have 3 custom widgets in a wrapper at the top of my page which are padded to space them out so they are not bunched together
.home-top-left { width: 370px; float: left; padding-right: 10px; position: relative; } .home-top-middle { width: 370px; float: left; padding-left: 5px; padding-right: 5px; position: relative; } .home-top-right { width: 370px; float: right; padding-left: 10px; position: relative; }
It looks fine on regular display, on mobile through the padding is pushing them outside of the screen forcing a horizontal scroll. I tried using a percentage width rather than a pixel width but then on mobile they don't stack and really scrunch up making them difficult to read and navigate. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
I have the Magazine Pro Theme v.3.1. and I want a bar/banner at, or near, the top of my site that will allow me to enter text and have scrolling messages go across the screen. Do you know how I can do this? If you have experience with this, I am especially interested in hearing from you. Thank you.
Welcome!
